Team in Training- Info Meeting
August 02, 2010
Join us at an information meeting to be held August 2nd beginning at 6:30 pm at the Fleet Fee Sports, 1776 North Center Street, to learn more about the Team In Training program. We train beginners to seasoned athletes to complete a marathon, half marathon, triathlon, century ride, or hike. We provide coaching, training schedules, and 1-2 weekly team trainings. We also cover all expenses including flight (if applicable), hotel, race entry, two dinners, race singlet, and much more. In return, you raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We are gearing up for our winter season, which will begin mid-August. We will be training for the Kiawah Island Marathon & Half (Dec 11th) and the Walt Disney World Marathon & Half Marathon (Jan 8-9). 10th Annual Statesville Criterium Bike Race
August 06, 2010
Tenth annual event! Professional and amateur cyclists compete in one of the most thrilling, spectator-friendly racing events in the cycling sport through the streets of Downtown Statesville. Races start at 6:15 pm and get faster (and more competitive!) as the sun goes down. The featured Pro Race starts at 8:45 pm. D'Laney's Sports Bar & Grill will sponsor this year's Trike Races.
