Geocaching in StatesvilleWelcome image

Fun for the entire family.  Statesville is adding new Geocache's everyday.  If you are asking yourself what is geocaching, well it is modern day treasure hunting.  We have gone out and placed geocaches out in our area for tourist and residents to find.  We will give you the Longitude and Latitude and all you need to do is plug that coordinate into your GPS device and find the treasure.

Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for gps users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a gps unit. We have set up basic cache's so that individuals and organizations can search all over our great area and discover new treasures every day.  Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache.
